Amit Chakma, Western's President, signs an agreement with Professor Hongrui Wang, General Secretary of Hebei University, China, to collaborate on a new biomedical imaging program.
The delegation from Hebei University included:

• Prof Guoyi Bai, PhD  chemistry
• Prof Bin Dong, PhD  engineering
• Prof Lixu Gu, Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and adjunct Professor, Hebei University

The delegation from Hebei University visited Robarts Research Institute, hosted by Terry Peters, Robarts imaging scientist. The collaboration was initiated from a long-term research relationship between Peters and Professor Lixu Gu, who was once a postdoctoral fellow in Peters' lab at Robarts.
