  • On September 9, 2015, Western International hosted a visit by Dr. Matthew Linley, Head of Office of International Admission, and Mr. Akinari Hoshino, Associate Professor and Study Abroad Advisory, Nagoya University.
  • In July 2014, Vice-Provost (International) Julie McMullin travelled to Japan for meetings with Waseda University and Gakushuin University, Tokyo.
  • On January 29, 2013, Japanese Consul General, Mr. Eiji Yamamoto and Vice-Consul Mr. Daisuke Nakamura, visited Western. Consul General Yamamoto gave a public talk on “Japan in Aisa and its Relations with Canada: Under the New Abe Administration”.
