Volunteer Teams

Meet & Greet Team:
Volunteer teams will be making a great first impression at various locations in London, including the London International Airport, VIA Rail London, select Hotels and on shuttles to and from campus.
Welcome Team:
Once our conference guests arrive on campus, they will be assisted by volunteers at registration and information areas who will help them settle in and make them feel at home while they’re visiting Western.
Event Team:
Our conference schedule is jam-packed with exciting events taking place over the course of the week! We’ll be relying on volunteers to help out with a number of event-related tasks at each one, from our Olympic-themed Opening Ceremonies to the Canadian Backyard BBQ Bash Closing Reception – and everything in between.
Technology Team:
If you’re comfortable using audio visual equipment and not afraid of technology, we would love to have you on our tech team! There will be opportunities throughout the week to assist as room monitors for learning sessions, help out with tech questions at information areas, and more.
Logistics Team:
When you have a week-long conference, there is a lot to be done to prepare! If you’re willing to help us manage some of the finer details related to logistics (think putting up signage, setting up for events, helping to clean up after events, etc.), join our logistics team.
Photography & Video Team:
Love taking photos and/or videos? We are looking for a small team dedicated to helping us document, showcase and share what we know will be an incredible experience on our campus.
