Why I chose Western
I chose Western for its stellar reputation and proximity to home. During high school, participating in Western events helped me become familiar with the community, easing the transition into university and allowing me to further thrive within the institution.
My favourite place on campus
Advanced Facility for Avian Research (AFAR) is my favourite place on campus because this is where I conducted my thesis research about shorebirds!
My favourite place in London
My favourite place in London has to be Harris Park for its scenic views. It also hosts many memorable events that bring the community of London together.
Highlights from my Western experience
Being an Off-Campus (OC) Soph last year allowed me to connect with new people, explore the Western community, and guide students beginning their Western journey. It was a highlight of my year, giving me the opportunity to be part of a supportive leadership network.

My advice for new students or students considering going abroad
My advice for new students is to step outside their comfort zones. University is a time to explore, discover new interests, and grow. Although trying new things can be scary, the rewards are worth it.
