About the Chu Centre
This glass-enclosed centre recently moved to the International and Graduate Affairs Building (former Ivey Lawrence Centre). Originally housed in the Western Student Services Building, the Centre was created in 2009 through a $1-million donation from the Chu family. The Chu Centre is home base for many international events each year - from student orientations and workshops to meetings and social events.

In order for this room to be used in the way the Chu family envisioned, priority will be given to events that have a certain formality, involve an international component, or involve international visitors.
The expectation for this room is that the user will be responsible for ensuring it is left as it was found – clean and furniture replaced to original layout.
Access After Hours:
Access to the International and Graduate Affairs Building for events after business hours may be limited. Please notify us that after-hours access will be required. Arrangements can be made to accommodate your event.
Costs:
There will not be any fee for the use of this room. However, if costs are incurred for cleaning or furniture placement, the user will bear the direct cost. Catering may be arranged directly through Great Hall Catering.
