Why I chose Western
I chose Western because of its strong academic reputation, welcoming campus community, and the opportunities it offers both inside and outside the classroom. I also loved the campus environment and the sense of community that Western has.
My favourite place on campus
My favourite place on campus is The Spoke. I love going there because it has the best bagels and I enjoy spending time with my friends over there.
My favourite place in London
My favourite place in London is Angelo’s because it has the best gelato and bakery in town.
Highlights from my Western experience
Some of my favourite highlights have been meeting people from different backgrounds, getting involved in the campus community, and exploring London with friends. I’ve also really enjoyed the independence and personal growth that comes with studying abroad.
A fun fact about me
A fun fact about me is that I like baking and make really tasty blueberry muffins.
My advice for new students or students considering going abroad
My biggest advice would be to step outside your comfort zone and make the most of every opportunity. It can take some time to adjust to a new country and university, but getting involved, meeting new people, and exploring your surroundings makes the experience so much more rewarding. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it, either.
