Why I chose Western
I chose Western because of the student life and strong sense of community on campus. The Medical Sciences program also stood out to me because of the different specializations it offered. And, of course, the campus is beautiful!
My favourite place on campus
The Ivey Building! I love going there to study, especially during exam season. It’s a nice place to stay and get work done later in the day when I need a change of scenery.
My favourite place in London
Downtown London. You could always find something to do there like trying different cafés or just hanging out with friends. It is also pretty close to campus, so it's an easy place to go to.
Highlights from my Western experience
One of the biggest highlights of my Western experience has been meeting so many amazing people. I can definitely say that I will be walking out of Western with some lifelong friendships and connections. Western has also given me the opportunity to explore interests that I had never considered before and to step out of my comfort zone.

My advice for new students or students considering going abroad
My biggest piece of advice is to put yourself out there and take advantage of the opportunities around you! It can be easy to stay within your comfort zone. However, some of the best experiences come from trying something new and meeting new people. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions, get involved, and make the most of your time. You will be surprised by how much you also learn about yourself along the way!
