Why I chose Western
I chose Western because of its strong academic programs and welcoming campus community. I also liked the campus environment and felt that Western would be a great place to study, meet new people, and experience life in Canada.
My favourite place on campus
My favourite place on campus is the library at King’s. I like studying there because it is quiet and comfortable, and I can also meet my friends there between classes.
My favourite place in London
My favourite place in London is Richmond Street and the downtown area. There are many restaurants and cafés, so I enjoy going there with my friends and trying different food.
Highlights from my Western experience
One of the highlights of my Western experience has been meeting people from different backgrounds and making new friends. When I first came to Canada, everything was new to me, but over time, I became more comfortable and confident. I really enjoy spending time with my friends and experiencing university life together.
A fun fact about me
I love trying new restaurants and cafés with my friends, and I’m always excited to find new places to eat!
My advice for new students or students considering going abroad
Don’t be afraid to try new things and meet new people. It’s normal to feel nervous at first, especially in a new country. Give yourself some time to adjust, join activities, and enjoy the experience!
