I am from London, so I wanted to stay in my hometown.

My favourite place on campus

Biological & Geological Sciences (BGS) because it’s always quiet and my lab is here so I'm always there. Also, the chemistry building right beside has study spots.

Egg Cloud because it has really good brunch sandwiches, good drinks, and a cute interior.

Highlights from my Western experience

In my first year in residence (Saugeen), I met some lifelong friends. The whole year is my favourite memory rather than having one special event. Everything was so new and nerve-wracking, but the people I met made it the best year of my life.

Fun facts about me

I am an honours thesis student in a behavioural genetics lab, and I study social behaviour in fruit flies.

I was in a sorority (Pi Beta Phi) for four years and just became an alumni.

My advice for new students or students considering going abroad

Always ask many questions and gather all information about credit transfer before making a decision. Also, if just contemplating going abroad or not, you should always take the chance; you never know what kind of experience might be waiting for you.
