How to Get Here

You may be able to get a connecting flight from Toronto to the London International Airport when you book your flight to Toronto.

The airport bus services below from Toronto or Detroit can be less expensive than flying into London.

Robert Q is located in terminals 1 and 3 at the ground transportation desk, and outside of the Terminal 2 baggage claim area at Pearson Airport

If you are INSIDE the city of Toronto and want to get to London, another option is to take the VIA Rail Train. Western is approximately a 15-20 minute bus ride from the VIA Station.

There are several taxi companies in London, and a few options are listed below.

Download the Uber app to request and pay for rides with locals.

There are many routes that will take you to Western on a London Transit Commission (LTC) and these routes can be viewed on Google Maps. Once students have their Western ONECard, this will function as their bus pass. For a full list of of bus payment options for BEFORE you get your ONECard, please visit the LTC website.

From the East or South on Highway 401 (Downtown Route)

• Follow Highway 401 to Wellington Road/Exeter Road Exit (#186).
• Take the Wellington Road branch and head north passing through downtown to Pall Mall Street.
• Turn west (left) onto Pall Mall and proceed one block to Richmond Street.
• Turn north (right) onto Richmond Street.
• Turn left onto University Drive at the University Gates.

From the East or South on Highway 401 (Peripheral Route)

• Follow Highway 401 and exit on Highbury Avenue (Exit #189) north to Oxford Street.
• Turn west (left) on Oxford Street and proceed to Richmond Street.
• Turn north (right) onto Richmond Street.
• Turn left onto University Drive at the University Gates.

From the West

• Follow Wharncliffe Road north past Oxford Street, merge onto Western Road.
• Follow Western Road past the 2nd set of lights (Sarnia Road) to the University Gates at Lambton Drive.
• Turn east (right) onto campus.

From the North

• Follow Highway 4 south to the Richmond Gates on University Drive.
