Why I chose Western

The beautiful campus and incredible community at Western have made a lasting impression on me—so much so that I find myself seriously considering it as the place to pursue my master’s degree.

A highlight of my Western Experience so far

I worked for two months in the Office of the Registrar, specifically in the OSAP department, as a summer Work Study student. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with an incredible team and support my peers in navigating their Western experience. I also volunteered with Western Foot Patrol for over a year, contributing to campus safety and fostering a more secure and welcoming environment. Additionally, I participated in Science Rendezvous 2025 as part of the Communications Committee and supported the Science Olympics 2025, both of which deepened my engagement with the campus community and promoted science outreach. My role as a Product Tech Developer for AI Agent at Western AGI has further allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in a practical, career-oriented context.

My goals for the future

I see myself contributing to Western in the future, possibly as a lecturer, while also exploring opportunities in the tech industry. Ultimately, I aspire to launch my own venture—whether in game development or animation production. My goal is to fully realize my potential and create meaningful impact in the fields I'm passionate about.

My advice for new students

Do not waste your time at Western and be sure to utilize everything that’s provided to you while you are still able to. University life passes like a flash, and every effort you make will pay off in your later life. It’s not all about burying yourself in books, but that should definitely become your routine, as this is the exact time to learn and to grow to shape a better self!

A fun fact about me

I was an entrepreneur and worked full-time for 10 years before joining Western.
