What is something you’d like to highlight about yourself?
I'd love to highlight my passion for dancing! Dancing is more than just a hobby for me—it's my happy place and a way to relieve stress. I enjoy choreographing routines and find immense joy in expressing myself through movement. It's a creative outlet that brings me peace and allows me to connect with others who share the same passion.
What’s been a highlight of your Western Experience so far?
A highlight of my Western experience has been the vibrant sense of community, especially during OWeek, where I made friends for a lifetime. Exploring Clubs Week further enriched this experience, connecting me with like-minded individuals and groups like Western's Geography People’s Society, Women in Aviation, and cultural clubs like GSA. These events have helped me feel truly part of Western's dynamic community while fostering both personal and professional growth.
Why did you choose Western?
I chose Western University because of its strong academic programs, particularly in Commercial Aviation Management and Geography, which align with my career goals. The welcoming community, diverse student body, and abundant extracurricular opportunities also made Western the ideal place for both personal and professional growth.
Do you have any advice for new students?
My advice for new students is to get involved in as many extracurricular activities as possible to build connections and enhance your university experience. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, whether it's joining a club, attending events, or seeking support when needed.
