Each term, Western International offers a series of monthly workshops focused on immigration-related topics to provide important information and help guide students as they navigate their immigration responsibilities.

Study Permit Extension

Stay on track with your study permit! Western International invites international students to a practical workshop focused on study permit extensions and compliance. This session will help you understand your responsibilities, navigate the extension process, and make informed decisions about any changes to your permit.

Temporary Resident Visa Workshop for International Students

Planning to travel outside Canada during your studies or after graduation? If your country of citizenship requires a visa, you'll need a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)—also known as a visitor visa or entry visa—to re-enter the country.

Social Insurance Number (SIN) Clinic

Are you authorized to work in Canada and need a Social Insurance Number (SIN)? Meet one-on-one with a Service Canada representative and apply for your SIN on campus. Please note that appointments will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
